Chica Project’s Summer Retreat: a getaway of rejuvenation.
Soak up the sun and enjoy three days of community, growth, and empowerment!
Life can get busy! From school to work to family to social life, days can go by in a rush. The hustle and bustle often keeps us from savoring the moments of reflection and peace. That’s why Chica Project is thrilled to announce our first-ever Summer Retreat, happening Tuesday, August 26 to Thursday, August 28 at the beautiful Ron Burton Training Village (RBTV) in Hubbardston, Massachusetts! Through this partnership with RBTV, Chica Project has designed a custom retreat experience that reflects our values of sisterhood, self-empowerment, and community leadership — while embracing the physical, mental, and emotional strength-building principles RBTV is known for.
Rooted in our mission and vision, Chica Project’s Summer Retreat is open to young Women of Color ages 11–18 in the Greater Boston area and will be a space where chicas can grow, recharge, and build lasting bonds. For three days and two nights, participants can get away from the hecticness of everyday life. With restorative workshops, outdoor activities, and moments for deep connection and reflection, this retreat is all about empowering young Women of Color to thrive — individually and collectively. And the best part? It’s FREE!
Space is extremely limited — only 25 spots are available! Registration is on a first come, first served basis and closes on Friday, July 25.
