  • No. The EmpowerHer Fun-5K is designed to be a fun, community-focused event rather than a competitive race. Participants are welcome to track their own time using a phone, smartwatch, fitness tracker, or preferred device.

  • Not at all! The EmpowerHer Fun-5K is for everyone. Whether you prefer to run, walk, stroll, or simply support from the sidelines, we'd love to have you join us. All participants must register in advance.

  • Absolutely! We encourage participants to bring their family and friends. Children ages 5 and under participate for free and do not need to be registered.

Dogs are also welcome, but they must remain on a leash at all times to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

  • Eligible ticket types include an official EmpowerHer Fun-5K event t-shirt. Participants can select their preferred t-shirt size during registration.

Race bibs and t-shirts can be picked up on-site during check-in from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM on event day.

  • The EmpowerHer Fun-5K takes place outdoors at Franklin Park on a paved route. Check-in, gathering activities, and the raffle drawing will take place on a grassy field.

If you have accessibility needs or questions, please contact us at [email protected] so we can help make your experience as comfortable as possible.

  • The course consists of three loops around the Franklin Park Playstead and White Stadium area, totaling approximately 3.1 miles (a traditional 5K).

Participants are welcome to complete as much of the course as they'd like. This is a Fun-5K, so there is no requirement to complete all three loops.
