You’re Invited to Chica Project’s Quinceañera

Celebrate 15 years of empowerment, community, and mentorship.

In 2011, Chica Project was born from a vision to see young Women of Color uplifted and empowered to become the fullest versions of themselves, free from barriers and boundaries. In 2026, our mission has remained steady, and we have had the privilege of serving more than 3,500 chicas on their journeys towards self-discovery. Through the work of our dedicated team members, the support of our local communities, and the trust of our chica participants, Chica Project is able to celebrate 15 years of empowerment for young Women of Color.

We are excited to invite you to Chica Project’s Quinceañera on March 21 at Hibernian Hall in Boston.

This celebration honors the journey that we have been on together — a story of transformation. We're stepping into a new chapter with maturity, independence, and purpose, celebrating the community that has made it all possible.

In Latin cultures, a quinceañera marks a young woman’s 15th birthday and her transition from girlhood to adulthood. Quinceañera celebrations are joyous, vibrant, and unapologetic. While music, dancing, and ballgowns are all integral aspects of a quinceañera, the most foundational part is the community. Chica Project’s Quinceañera celebrates both our 15th anniversary and the support of our chica familia. From donors to participants to mentors, every individual who has partnered with us in any way has contributed to the pursuit of our mission. Together, we are working toward a world with doors wide open for young Women of Color.
