Our board consists of visionaries who believe in collective power and paying it forward. Their wisdom and experience allow Chica Project to continue to grow and flourish as a safe space for young Women of Color to thrive.

Damali Vidot
Board Chair
An activist, mentor, artist, mother, and auntie, Damali leads Chica Project’s board with both passion and compassion. Her work as a community organizer, advocate, and former elected official exemplifies her mission-driven leadership. Believing in equitable access and systemic change, she builds her activism at the intersection of art, policy, and collective care. Dimali paves the way for greater opportunities for young Women of Color, inspiring them to dream bigger and foster their own leadership potential. As Chica Project’s board chair, she fosters an environment of empowerment, accountability, and dedication.
Noelle Rudeen
Development Committee Chair
Strategic Operations Consultant
Inspired by the impact that mentorship has played in her own life, Noelle brings her expertise in working with mission-driven organizations to Chica Project. As the board’s Development Committee Chair, she directly supports the organization’s fundraising efforts. Noelle believes in strong leadership and professional development, and her work focuses on creating pathways for growth and building relationships. Through her passion for community-centered operations, she offers a unique strategy-driven perspective.
Scott Noddin
Treasurer & Finance Committee Chair
Senior Accountant, GoTo Technologies
Scott originally joined the organization as part of Chica Project’s Finance Committee in 2019. Today, he brings his financial expertise to the board as the Treasurer and Finance Committee Chair, sharing his insights and supporting Chica Project’s operations and mission. Through his wealth of knowledge and professional experience, Scott is a valuable leader and an integral part of bringing our vision to life.
Linel Perez
Project Manager, Duet
Linel’s passion lies in community, people, and purpose. Through her Panamanian and Dominican heritage, she has developed a commitment to cultural preservation, storytelling, and creating spaces where people can connect. Linel has a vision for increased access, support, and encouragement for young girls. As a Chica Project board member, she brings with her more than four years of experience in the nonprofit sector.
