Financial Baddies: Empowering the Next Generation of Financially Independent Young Women
A Financial Wellness Workshop for Chica Project Alumni
September 12 | 11:00 AM–12:30 PM | Virtual
Our relationship with money starts long before we earn our first paycheck. It’s shaped by what we see growing up, what we hear from the people around us, and the experiences that teach us what money means to us.
In Financial Baddies, we’ll take a closer look at our own relationship with money—where our beliefs and habits come from, what we want to carry forward, and what we may want to change.
We’ll also get into the real-life stuff: saving, spending, budgeting, credit, investing, and building wealth. Most importantly, this workshop is about seeing money as a tool and thinking about what financial independence can look like for you.
You’ll leave with a better understanding of your relationship with money and practical tools to help you make informed financial decisions and build toward the future you want.
